The white pepper of the Penja valley in Cameroon is a rare product.
It’s origin and perfume makes it one of the most unique peppers. It is sought after by the most distinguished chefs and gourmets.
The taste of the Penja pepper is not comparable to any other pepper. It has a very delicate perfume, that is soft and refined, which goes together with a flavoursome warmth, more than any other spice. It starts by elegantly delighting the nostrils and brings out a warm, round, insisting feeling. Penja pepper complements the musked savours of pork, gives vigour to beef, accentuates the taste of eggs and raises the delicacy of fish preparations.
The perfumers classify the Penja pepper into the family of the “fresh spices”. Not very volatile, this pepper has a particularly dry and rich smell. Strong and exquisite at the same time, the white Penja pepper is contradictory with its smooth and savage taste. Its roundness overrides the spiciness and its powerful, woody, amber aromas do not mask its fineness.
ICR TRADING is the company in charge of the distribution of withe pepper from METOMO Plantations under AFIDI Trade mark.
We can provide withe pepper in metalic box of 150g and in grinding machine of 50g. We can also provide it in bags of 10, 20 and 50Kg.

Notre société commercialise le poivre AFIDI de Penja. Le Poivre de Penja est un produit rare au caractère exceptionnel. Cultivé sur quelques hectares seulement dans la région ouest du Cameroun, la qualité exceptionnelle du terroir enrichi par des terres volcaniques et un climat de type équatorial en font un lieu privilégié pour la culture du poivrier.
Au nez, il révèle des notes chaudes, boisé et puissant sans être agressif. En bouche, il dévoile tout son raffinement, sur des notes épicées et fruitées. Son goût n'est comparable à aucun autre : doux et raffiné, son parfum délicat.
Plus que toute autre épice, il s'allie à toute saveur chaleureuse. En effet, riche en arôme, il convient en final sur les viandes, poissons, fromages, fruits poêlés, etc.
Nous sommes sûrs que votre clientèle saura apprécier le goût unique du Poivre de Penja commercialisé sous le label AFIDI. Il est en effet le résultat d’un minutieux processus de sélection et de préparation effectué directement dans la plantation du producteur selon des critères d’hygiène et de qualité très exigeants.
Le poivre blanc de Penja de la marque AFIDI peut être livré dans des boîte métaliques de 150g, dans des moulins à poivre de 50g ou dans les sacs de jute selon la commande. |
